Refund and Returns Policy Last updated: May 14, 2026

At traveLight we want you to have a stress-free experience. Please read this policy carefully before placing your rental order.

1. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel or modify your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery are non-refundable.

2. Return of Rental Kits

Since this is a rental service, all kits must be returned at the end of your stay.

  • The kit must be returned on the agreed pickup date and time.
  • You must leave the kit at the hotel reception (in the bag provided) before check-out.
  • All items must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear.

3. Condition of Returned Items

We expect the garments to be returned clean and without significant damage. The following will not be accepted and may result in additional charges:

  • Strong odors (cigarette smoke, heavy perfume, etc.)
  • Permanent stains
  • Tears, rips, or burns
  • Missing items

In case of damage or non-return of items, you will be charged the replacement cost of the garment(s) plus a handling fee (up to €80 per item).

4. Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your kit immediately upon delivery. If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 12 hours at travelight.hello@gmail.com with photos. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

5. Refunds

  • Full refund: Only for cancellations made more than 48 hours before delivery.
  • No refund for early returns (if you return the kit before the agreed date).
  • Refunds (when applicable) will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after approval.

6. European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If you are a customer in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the kit, without giving any reason.

However, for hygiene and sanitary reasons, rented clothing items fall under exceptions to the cooling-off period once the seal is broken or the garments have been worn. Therefore, worn kits are generally non-refundable.
